Goal of the Function:
As a Senior Debt Counsellor, you’ll assist over-indebted shoppers by providing knowledgeable monetary recommendation, negotiating with collectors, and designing sustainable reimbursement plans according to the Nationwide Credit score Act. Additionally, you will handle complicated instances and supply mentorship to junior Debt Counsellors to make sure constant service excellence.
Key Obligations:

- Assess shoppers’ monetary circumstances and develop tailor-made proposals.
- Negotiate reimbursement plans with collectors to make sure beneficial outcomes.
- Handle consumer information and guarantee compliance with NCR rules.
- Conduct reckless credit score assessments and situation clearance certificates.
- Information shoppers on budgeting and monetary planning.
- Present assist and steering to workforce members and guarantee regulatory compliance.

Minimal Necessities:

- Matric (Grade 12)
- Registered Debt Counsellor (with the Nationwide Credit score Regulator)
- 4+ years of debt assessment expertise
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English (each verbal and written)
- Proficient in MS Workplace and debt assessment methods
- Sturdy working data of the Nationwide Credit score Act and debt counselling processes
- Wonderful interpersonal, communication, and negotiation abilities
- Excessive consideration to element and robust administrative capability
- Capable of work effectively beneath strain and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in an African language is a robust benefit
